BIORE is here in town again!!

No joke about this but I have been the greatest greatest fan of BIORE makeup remover products. In fact, the two makeup removers I was using before the release of this new Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover were the Biore Micellar Water as well as the Biore Wipes. I even make the purchase myself to replenish the Biore Wipes I’ve been using up, while the micellar water has been lasting me for the past few months.

Ok enough of how much a fan I am, but by now you should know today’s review will be all about BIORE’s NEW Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover! 🙂

First up, it comes in a pump bottle so you can easily use it along with cotton pads for removing your makeup. As we all already know, the Aqua Jelly is a jelly-textured substance that is gentle on the skin and capable enough to remove makeup residues without harsh tugging our skin. It works like this: the soft jelly-like texture comes with high cleansing ability which dissolves all traces of makeup before they get removed just by rinsing with water. It contains 40% moisturising essence which helps to provide some sort of moisture level to hydrate your skin. Most importantly, I like how the greasiness of the makeup remover can be easily removed by only water.

I did a test with 4 makeup products – A red lip crayon, waterproof eyeliner, waterproof mascara and BB Cushion. The directions is simply. Spread generously the aqua jelly over your face (in this case, my arm) and massage away the makeup. After which, rinse with product and you can continue with your normal cleansing procedures.

The makeup removing process is generally fuss-free and simple. You can also make use of cotton pads to help wipe away the remover to reduce any mess possible (but I would still recommend massaging the remover on a dry face with your dry hands).

Pictured above, I had only foundation on so what I was testing is to what extent can the Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover remove my foundation base on my skin. You can tell the makeup remover doesn’t look very greasy after I massage it around my face. I then washed it off with only water and I feel very refreshed and clean.

All in all, I would say Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover is a good buy for most dry skin types. It will be retailing at only SGD 24.90 in all leading supermarkets, personal care stores and western pharmacies & departmental stores from April 2015 onwards.
