BellaBox March Edition – 50 Shades of Pink – Celine Chiam | Singapore Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel Blogger

Can’t believe how time flies in a blink of an eye – I’m actually reviewing my third Bellabox today with the theme “50 Shades of Pink”. Pink isn’t my favourite colour to be honest, but I love how the vibrant colour brightens up my mood the moment I unbox it. Let’s see what’s awaiting us to try out this month! 🙂

1. Benefit Cosmetic Roller Lash 8.5g SGD$37

I believe this product has got to be the star and most anticipated product in the box. Exclusively available as a sample to Bellabox only, the Benefit Cosmetic Roller Lash is superb enough to give you a curl power that can last for 12 hours straight. Why so? The roller lash is packed with instant curve setting formula and an innovative Hook ‘n’ Roll brush that helps to lengthen and separate your lashes as you coat them sparingly. Interestingly, the roller lash doesn’t clump my lashes together unlike those volumizing mascaras, no matter how many times I coat it. Comes in a petite size (it’s a sample, duh), I’m already including it in my small makeup pouch that I bring out everyday *winks.

2. Daylong SPF50+ Sunscreen Duo, 50ml, $32.90 (Gel) & $39.90 (kids).

I cannot emphasise enough how important are sunscreens, or sunblock as you like to call it. i understand why people hate apply sunscreen because it tends to grease up so much, it’s just uncomfortable, especially when it’s applied on your face. Which is why, I always look out for sunscreen that isn’t too greasy, or best if they are matte. Daylong SPF50+ Sunscreen Duo (one for adults and one for kids) are quick absorbing, non-sticky and colourless. Despite its high SPF value (SPF50), it doesn’t look oily on my face. Oh, did I mention it can be used on sensitive skin and the face too? 🙂

3. URIAGE Suppleance Corps (Nourishing cream body milk), 200ml, $39.90

For something lightweight and yet moisturising, you got to try URIAGE nourishing cream body milk. What makes this product unique is the Uriage Thermal Water included to intensively hydrates the skin, leaving it supple and moisturised. Some other important ingredients for moisturising include shea butter, Edelweiss extract and for a sweet scent to it, honeysuckle fragrance.

4. d’skin Hydra-protective Calming Cleanser (300ml, $99) & Anti-Oxidant Hydra-Youth Toner (200ml, $89)

I’m not kidding when I tell you I got so excited when I saw d’skin products featured in this month’s box. I paid myself for d’skins’ products because it really worked for me. The Hydra-protective Calming Cleanser in particular is a milk cleanser, which is great for cleansing because it doesn’t take away the necessary sebum and moisture from your skin. It’s proven to be effective because I’ve been visiting d’skin for facials regularly and every time I visit, they’ll conduct a skin test for me and over time, my skin moisture level does improve. Good buy I would say, although it can be a little pricey.

5. Asience Inner Rich Shampoo & Conditioner, 480ml, S$14.90

Enough of skincare, let’s move on to the hair!

The Asience Inner Rich Shampoo & Conditioner combo is great for dry and frizzy hair with its luxurious blend of previous oils and essences. I have to admit I once had a very bad experience with Asience shampoos because just after one wash, my hair was SO dry and felt almost like plastic. This time round, I do want to give the brand another try and I’ll see if that happens again.

Other items include:

PP Shop Post-Laser Facial Mask | 6 sheets per box | $72

Tealy spring Green Tea | 10 Tea bags/pack $17

Darlie all shiny white multi-care toothpaste | 140g | $3.45

Hope you enjoy March’s Bellabox as much as I do! Have fun! 😉
