Casio EXILIM EX-TR60 Selfie Camera Review | Selfie Is Casio – Celine Chiam | Singapore Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel Blogger
If you have been following me on instagram, you probably know that I’ve been using the legendary selfie camera Casio TR60 for a period of time and all the photos produced from the camera receive so much compliments! Comes in a sleek slim design with the capability to smoothen your skin complexion in the most natural way, it’s no wonder why this camera has won the hearts of many young ladies (well, including me! Hehe)
The Casio TR60 comes in four pastel colours – Green, Violet, Pink and Gold. The green and violet are glossy while the other two have matte coatings.
I personally prefer the matte finishing because it feels nicer to hold!
What’s unique about the Casio TR series is that they can be twisted to any directions you wish to have. You can also twist it to such a way it’s longer so that it’s easier to take group photos with its 360-degree LCD rotatable frame.
As we all know, the wifi function inbuilt in a camera is so important because many of us need to send the photos immediately to our phones (we are really that impatient hahha!). Sometimes when you take group photos, you won’t have to wait until you get home in order to send the photos to your friends! By downloading the Casio Exilim Connect app from both the app store and google playstore, you can easily send the photos to your devices as simple as that. Once connected to the camera’s wifi, the photos will be sent to the app and slot nicely into a folder in your photos.
And to top up their makeup mode, you can also have the liberty to adjust the skin tone and texture just like that! There are 12 varying levels and skin tone on six levels from fair to tan.
Notice the two dots that I’ve pointed out in the photo above? What lies in between the dots is a sensor pad which allows you to select between six different art effects. Here are the six!
Taking selfies can’t be as easier as this! My favourite? Definitely the ‘Foggy’/’Elegant’ mode! What is your favourite? 🙂
Comes with the camera are also more artistic modes which I hardly use.. I mean, the makeup mode or premium auto pro was good enough!
And here are some sample shots for you! These photos are all taken with Casio TR60, non-edited and true to what you see here.
Extracted from Casio:
EX-TR60 combines EXILIM Engine HS Ver.3 with a high sensitivity 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor and a newly developed lens with outstanding optic qualities. Also equipped with a high brightness LED for capturing even more beautiful images in dark or backlit conditions, vastly improved self-portrait image results can be achieved in any situation. What this means is that you can enjoy self-portraits that are a cut above anything you’ve ever experienced before.
My review on Casio TR60
Yes, this camera has definitely lived up to its name as being one of the best selfie camera ever invented. There must be a reason why Casio released so many versions of this TR series camera. Selling at S$1299, I am definitely expecting this camera to perform well. Indeed, this camera does WONDERS to the skin, making you look like you have flawless skin although your skin make have bumps, uneven skin tone or unsightly blemishes. It also has a nice brightening effect without looking too artificial.
The downside to this camera is that is takes a while to load between each photos being taken. It doesn’t react fast enough when there isn’t enough lighting as well.
You can also adjust the lightings if you want to!
More photos taken with Casio TR60!
Even good for taking food photos as well!
