Hada Labo is certainly a brand that almost all young ladies know. One of the most affordable skincare products in Singapore, Hada Labo managed to win the hearts of many especially with their effective hydrating effect. No wonder it’s the bestselling hydrating lotion in Japan and Singapore!

Thanks to Samplestore, I was given a bottle of Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion to try and I love it so  much.

I was also invited to be in their beauty panelists for samplestore.com, yay! 🙂

One of the Hada Labo skin care range is the SHA Hydrating Lotion, also termed as Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion. It has the finest and purest ingredients packed in a clean bottle without any artificial fragrance, mineral oil or colorant. Do you know that the lotion can act as a toner as well? Amazing!

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion is most ideal for normal and dry skin type for its ability to improve and hydrate the skin with its moisture-locking ability, layer by layer. Most essentially, the Hada Labo Hydrating lotion has three types of Hyaluronic Acid with different acid molecules to moistures the skin from surface to deep within. They are: Hyaluronic Acid, Super Hyaluronic Acid and Nano Hyaluronic Acid. So much for a hyaluronic serum!

If you are as puzzled as me about the green packaging of this lotion that I have, it’s because it’s the new Hada Labo SHA hydrating LIGHT lotion! I’ve asked Hada Labo about the difference and they told me that LIGHT lotion has the exact same ingredients, but has a lighter texture catered for oily and combination skin.

Directions to use Hada Labo hydrating lotion

How I feel about Hada Labo lotion/toner

From the start of patting the lotion onto my face, I’ll feel a sticky texture because of the acids not being absorbed yet. Soon after a minute or so, my skin becomes extremely smooth and bouncy, and I do not feel any sticky texture anymore. The hydrating effect managed to stay on quite a while throughout the day, and it feels like a protective layer to lock in the moisture to keep my skin smooth and supple.

Where to buy?

Find Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion in most stores like NTUC, Watsons, Guardian, SASA and BHG, all in Singapore. It’s retailed at $22.90 per bottle of 170 ml.
