I’m pretty sure ladies out there have heard of the new Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash.
As far as I know, facial wash comes in many types – typically foam, clear cleanser and gel (no bubbles). I am currently using a gel cleanser which isn’t commonly found in supermarkets. Nonetheless, I have tried brand X’s facial foam before and it made my skin extremely dry, which thus made me turn all foam cleanser away.
But fortunately, I was able to try out the new Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash and so far I can say I am pretty satisfied with it!
Before you read about my comments about this facial wash, it’s good for you to know that my skin belongs to combination skin, which means the T-zone area is a little oily and the cheek area is slightly dry. Usually it’s recommended to have a combination skin type facial foam so that the dry area doesn’t get too dry as you tackle the oily T-zone.
After using Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash for a few times, I can safely say that my skin does not turn dry after the wash. I am serious when I say my skin can become very dry just after a wash. I’ve tried many facial wash (including my mum’s) and sometimes just after a wash, I can feel a tightening effect on my face. It feels as though the skin is being pulled and it is so so dry. Which is why I’ve used the same facial gel for more than 5 years already (come to think of it, oh boy that’s long!).
But why Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash?
Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash gives you instant foam with just 1 pump! With an improved formula, it has Skin Purifying Technology that rebalances & improves skin. Also contains hydrating ingredients that softens skin. With 800% more micro-bubbles and 8x denser foam, Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash can penetrate into pores to remove all dirt, oil and impurities. Suitable for normal to combination skin.
Denser foam which prevents the pump from dropping even if I flip my palm upside down. Impressive!
For me, I actually uses 2 pumps and it’s good enough to lather it around my whole face. It feels really soft to lather the dense foam onto my face, cos the foam is really thick and smooth. You can actually see that there’s not much huge bubbles on my palm.
And honestly, it smells good too. I pretty much like the flowery scent but I’ve read other reviews saying that they hate the smell. I guess different people have different taste, but surely the smell won’t be that bad that you can’t tolerate it, right?
Now, my quick and own version – PEDU summary of the product!
I chanced upon this product and saw it selling at SGD12.90 at Watsons. That’s considered pretty affordable considering a bottle can last you for about 3 months. Do the math and it’s about $4 a month? Definitely affordable for students.
What this facial wash promises is the ability to cleanse the skin even more thoroughly while leaving your skin still baby smooth. That I would agree because like I’ve mentioned above, my skin doesn’t feel dry, but rather a little smooth. As for the cleansing, I can’t really justify but it does feel comfortable to lather the dense foam over your face, feels as though it cleanses your pores really thoroughly.
Nothing much about the lastingness of a facial foam I guess?
Well, this facial wash sure is unique for its x8 denser foam! I’ve never came across such dense and thick foam with just one pump. But disclaimer first, I used two pumps to wash my face. THAT, is still considered little! I remembered using more pumps when I used foam wash very long ago.
Another point is the scent! I like it 🙂
Overall, I’m satisfied with the product and I would recommend to young ladies out there! Be sure to check out the three different types (Acne-prone, combination and dry) of Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash, read the descriptions and only only get the one that really suits your skin. Everyone has different skin types.
