Jetstar has been in the business for quite a period, and the services just keep on growing positively. Jetstar flights have been widely known as one of the top performing, or popular low fares flights out there. With over 5,000 flights (and counting) to various countries including Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Pacific, you can bet that Jetstar has covered pretty much most of the flight routes out there. Let’s look at what makes Jetstar so convenient to travel with, shall we?

Fleet Size

Now, I’m not much of an aviation enthusiast, but from what I gather when digging through some research on Jetstar, their fleet collection is pretty impressive, I must say. They have large planes like Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A320, Airbus A321 and Bombardier Q300 (all these fancy names~). All of the fleets can transport up to 300 passengers including the crews. That’s HUGE! Not only that, the seat space is also something to take note of. They are quite spacious. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a comfortable space to travel for a long time.

Punctuality

I don’t know about you, but for me, punctuality is what makes the success for a flight carrier. Flight delays just kill the hell out of me. Good thing is, based on Jetstar’s record – from 2017 and 2018, their on-time record looks to be very decent for their frequency. They have around and over 70% of on-time flight throughout those two years. Nobody likes to wait, and apparently, Jetstar takes knowledge of this and ensure their timing is dead on.

Frequent Flyer Programs

For a low-cost carrier, Jetstar has affiliated with various frequent flyers from other big names in the game like Qantas, Emirates Skywards, JAL Mileage Banks and Lotusmiles. The more you travel, the bigger the points you will gather and the better rewards you will get. Among the rewards waiting for you when you redeem include upgrades and additional facilities for your comfort when you fly. That’s a pretty complete package for travellers alike, don’t you think? Let’s not forget the affordable prices for any impromptu trips!

In Flight Comforts

All in all, even if you have thousands of awards on the wall, but if the services and facilities onboard are below average, then, you’re better off taking the train or something. Good thing to note about Jetstar is that it can read your mind. Jetstar maximises the best experience for flyers regardless of which class they are on. They have what they call Comfort Packs that you can request on board, especially if you’re on long haul flights. What are Comfort Packs, you ask? These packs consist inflatable neck support pillow, toothbrush and toothpaste (the basic utilities one needs in a long journey), earplugs (will come in handy for first time flyers, sensitive sleepers and pretty much anyone who wants a peace and quiet), socks, eye mask (again, valuable for peace and quiet seekers) and Ecothread blanket. Your sleep will never be cosier.

That’s pretty much a short review on Jetstar. I know, I know, there are other low cost airlines that give out a pretty good deal like Scoot flight booking or AirAsia – not saying they’re bad or anything. Like I said, Jetstar is one of the many that provides good experience to travellers. It’s pretty decent if you’re a first-time flyer because not only they provide great comfort, but they will assist you through all the process of booking and such. It’s a great assistance when it’s your first time in the gig of travelling.

Until next time! Have a nice flight, have a nice holiday and an AMAZING adventure ahead! Thanks for reading! ❤ Love, Celine
