Last tuesday, Plaza Singapura celebrates its 40th Anniversary by partnering with Cold Storage and co-organized an epicurean event “Flavours of the World”. There was an array of gourmet delights lined up which includes fresh oysters, meat carving stations and not to forget an extensive range of alcohols.
If you’ve noticed, this is the very first time Cold Storage organised a live gourmet event of such a scale in a shopping mall. I personally like such an opportunity for me to try out exquisite selections of food and beverages flown in from all over the world. A pity was that the event was a little too crowded and packed so I didn’t have much opportunity to snap more photos.
If you’re like me who gets sick of all the potato chips brand we commonly find in Singapore, you’ll be ecstatic to know that Cold Storage has brought in new labels like Herr’s and other popular brands from US, Spain and UK.
On a side note, would like to introduce to you the new flavour from Hoegaarden – Hoegaarden Rosee! It’s a light wheat beer with a tinge of raspberry zest, quite refreshing!
