Then this movie is perfect for you. 

OZ the Great and Powerful 

Starring Oscar (James Franco), who is the magician that got himself involved in an unbelievable, sometimes breath-taking journey of adventures.  

A quote from the trailer, was that he wants to be a great man rather than a good man that everyone was. So you can already guess that he’s the good guy in the story. But will he really turns out to be what we anticipated? We’ll see 😉 

With some similarities with The Wizard of Oz, it may seem that the plot will be easily guessed and there will be nothing special about the movie. That’s not really necessary because a great movie can have the twists and turns in the climax but still similar to the plot outline. 

Honestly, I am simply captivated by the graphics in this movie.  Such magnificent views can get so real!   The colours are so HD and vibrant as well. It’ll be even better if we are viewing on a big screen in the theaters! So this is definitely a good reason to catch this movie in the theaters. 

And also how real and cute these little cartoon/animal roles can get! 

And the three beautiful witches with their gorgeous outfits! 

So yes I was saying, Oscar got caught in the journey of adventure when a pool of gold was ALMOST entirely his, but he has to do something in order to receive all the gold – to defeat a witch. With his already acquired magic-knowledge, and a little wizardry, how will he defeat the wicked wizard? Can he succeed? Obviously yes, but HOW, is the question.

The story can get so exciting and enthralling, such that I really can’t wait to catch this movie!

Besides, the movie consists funny elements in it as well! 

Like dwarfs! 

 I want to know what will happen not just in the end, but throughout the whole movie. I want to know how will Oscar deal with the three different witches in the movie, and how he goes about differentiating the good witches from the bad ones. And how he deal with all the obstacles and challenges to truly become a great man like how he mentioned at the very start. 

So many things that I wanted to know! I NEED to watch this movie! ^.^

Movie sypnosis

Disney’s fantastical adventure “Oz The Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late.
