Too Faced Cosmetics Le Grand Palais review – Celine Chiam | Singapore Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel Blogger
If you have a thing for all things sweet and girly, then Too Faced Christmas gift sets are meant for you! Be treated to an array of of gift sets containing some of Too Faced bestsellers like their melted lip gloss and blushers in a lovely heart-shape casings. To the guys out there fretting over what gifts to get for your girl, this might be a good gift idea!
Leaving the best to the last is the Too Faced Le Grand Palais full-face collection ($80). This Christmas gift set comes with 15 eyeshadows, 3 blushers and several highlighters, their best selling Better Than Sex mascara, Melted Peony (lip gloss) and Shadow Insurance (eyelid primer).
The first thing that we all can’t help to notice is how meticulous this gift set is prepared. Comes in a beautiful gift box with ribbon embossment, Too Faced is definitely not missing out on all the small little details!

I managed to swatch all the colors and I find myself having a two sided view for this palette. Some of the colors come off really gorgeous and generous, the glitter and color intensity are simply impressive. However there’s a handful of eyeshadows that didn’t swatch off as well as the others. You probably can tell from my swatches when you spot a break in between the swatch.
I thought it’s quite worth it since this Le Grand Palais comes with a mascara, lip gloss and eyeshadow. Besides, for Too Faced cosmetics which is well known for its eyeshadow, it’s quite a good buy and worth the money. This is provided you are really in love with the princessy packaging so much so that you don’t mind having this rather bulky item to steal the limelight on your cosmetic desk! 😉
I played around with the eyeshadow but was still a little conservative in my eyeshadow application. If you’re more daring and would like to have a ”louder” look, try increasing the intensity or shading the eyeshadow slightly higher than what I’m doing here!
I first used ‘Delightful’ as the base, before adding more shimmers using “Moon on Their Wings”. Finally, I added a little darker shade using “Yule log”.
