My review
Needless to say, Red 2 is a gleeful and sly sequel to its predecessor, Red. Prior to watching this movie, I couldn’t much recall the snippets of Red the movie. With that in mind, I went ahead to watch Red 2 because I know no matter what, I know the movie is gonna be exciting and amusing. With well-known action movie stars like Bruce Willis, and comical actor like John Malkovich, Red 2 is indeed one of the best action movie this year, with traces of humor and intelligent plotting.
If you are seeking full-fledged action movie like the one Bruce Willis starred in “A good day to die hard”, you may be disappointed. Red 2 isn’t exactly all about how the old retirees make their comeback with all the blasting and gun fights. But in addition to that, it includes certain level of humor, romance and erm.. old men’s crankiness. Haha!
Some may despise the fact that the movie has treated deaths and the lost of people’s lives as a joke. I wouldn’t take this point to heart because it’s after a lighthearted action movie.
All in all, I truly enjoyed the movie so much that I believe it’s a movie worth to catch. Now please excuse me while I search for the first Red movie because I believe it’s too good to be missed.
