It’s only 3 days to 2015, I can’t believe how time just flew past with no mercy. 
This year has been a fruitful and accomplishing year as I got the chance to try out and experience many new things. With this in mind, I think it’s good to always remind ourselves how memorable the past is and how much we should appreciate and treasure the precious moments every single second. 


In conjunction with Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown will feature a 3D projection mapping display on the facade of the hotel, showcasing montage of sketches and graphics of the past and present of Singapore. We were really honoured to be one of the first to witness the launch of this 3D projection, and let’s have a look how it looks like!

Taking the boat ride to watch the 3D Projection

The boat ride was definitely a relaxing opportunity to unwind and admire the Singapore landscape along the water of Marina Bay Singapore. The night view was simply breathtaking. It was my first time taking the boat ride on Marina Bay water and like a girl, I got really excited as I anticipated the 3D Projection on the Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Check out the number of cameras as we waited for 8.15pm to arrive. 

Fret not if you think you have missed the chance. The public can actually enjoy this 2 mins projection half hourly from 815pm to 1115pm from now till 30 December. On the New Year’s Eve, you can even catch the 3 mins extended version of the projection at the same timings and a final run at 1155pm. And after this comes the most exciting part where you’ll watch a 10 seconds countdown to midnight, followed by an 8 mins firework display. 

There will also be many events and performances on the New Year’s Eve itself, of which includes non-ticketed events like Esplanade’s Celebrate December music programmes, carnival at The Promontory and SG50 concert by Mediacorp at The Float @ Marina Bay. Basically, it’s a night full of events everywhere and make sure you do not miss out the fun!
