Holiday Inn Express hotels in Bangkok, Thailand – Celine Chiam | Singapore Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel Blogger
Whenever you travel, lodging and accommodation is probably one of the first few things you would have to settle after confirming your flights and dates. Then when it comes to accommodation, there’s two things most guests usually look for: decent service and affordable price. Having stayed in all three Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Bangkok Thailand, I must say they’re are highly recommended!

Our first night stay was in Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn, where we only touched down at around 12am. Because of the flight and the fact we girls were tired, we decided to call it a day early. Actually, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn is very nicely located near one of the tourist attractions – Bangkok’s Asiatique, The Riverfront. It is only 30 minutes’ drive from Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports and just 3 minutes’ walk from Chongnonsri BTS skytrain station. Location is pretty good! However, it is slightly far away from city centre.
Each Holiday Inn Express hotel is differently designed and the one at Sathorn has a modern hipster kind of feel. Check-ins and check-outs are all very fuss-free, and the service staff are very friendly. They are also helpful in helping us book cabs when we need to!
Computers are also available in the lobby.
As for the rooms, the functional-designed guestrooms come in various sizes and can be linked between two rooms as well. Great for big families who require two rooms!
Their toilets are all fully equipped with the necessary items and you can actually request for more items if you need to.
Each Holiday Inn Express reservation also comes with FREE Breakfast which operates from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m daily. There’s also Grab & Go option for those who would like to hit the city centre as early as they wake up.
Plenty of breakfast options at Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Our second night was spent in Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11.
If you noticed, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 has a different colour theme and uses brighter colours (haha not that it really matters to guests who rest here). Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 are really more for those night owls who prefer to spend their evening chilling out at pubs and bars. The whole vicinity where Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is located has a lot of pubs down the street. Likewise for street food.
All Holiday Inn Express hotels provide you the choice to choose between soft and firm pillows. You can request for more if you would like to. Oh, did I mention that they provide high-speed free wifi as well? 🙂
Basic teas and coffees are provided.

Finally, leaving the best to the last: Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam.
Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam is very nicely located in the middle of Siam area. It’s only a few mins walk away from the three Siam Shopping centres and only a mere 3 mins walk from National Stadium BTS Skytrain Station.
We were given their superior room which was able to house more than three people as long as we request for makeshift beds.
Their toilet was huge too!
Then of course, the bed itself was pretty huge and three of us girls can actually squeeze in one.
All three of us really love the Holiday Inn Express Siam because it has so many things around the hotel. There’s also night street markets every night just 2-5 mins walk away from the hotel. I feel really safe around this area and I actually walked the street market alone on my last night in Bangkok, of which you can read more here in my 4D3N Bangkok Itinerary.
Don’t forget to enjoy your FREE breakfast at Holiday Inn Express hotels! 🙂
