Recently, Singapore hasn’t been raining and the winds are really really strong. My skin had thus turn really dry and for every expression I make, I can feel my skin tensing up! It’s really that bad. *insert depressed face here*

Recently, I’ve been trying out the new Hada Labo 3-in-1 Arbutin Whitening Perfect Gel and I know I have to share with you this new product in the market. We’ve all heard about the mighty  Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion, so how does its sibling – Whitening Perfect Gel – fair? 

The new Hada Labo 3-in-1 Arbutin Whitening Perfect Gel contains 3 important ingredients that penetrate within and work on the skin synergistically. The ingredients are Natural Arbutin, Vitamin C Concentrate and Hyaluronic Acids (HA) and nano-Hyaluronic Acids.

Natural Arbutin: High concentration levels at 3% of Japanese pharmaceutical-level Arbutin offers effective whitening results by enhancing skin fairness and targets dark spots

Efficacious Vitamin C Concentrate: Proven anti-oxidant enhances collagen production, inhibits the appearance of dark spots and reawakens the appearance of dull skin. 

Hyaluronic Acids (HA) and nano-Hyaluronic Acids: HA is a natural component found on skin. The duo-HA molecules instantly hydrate and lock-in moisture, keeping skin soft, smooth & bouncy.

How I feel about this product: 

This Arbutin Whitening Perfect Gel resembles something like jelly. Once applied, it doesn’t feel greasy or oily at all. But it does leave a sticky texture on the skin which was easily absorbed after half an hour or so. The layer of protective gel lasted pretty long and acted as a protective layer to lock in the moisture within. Feels cooling when applied too!

I do not use this product on a daily basis because I have my own skincare regime. I use it once every two days as a leave-in mask every night I turn in to bed. When I wake up the next morning, my face will look more supple and moisturised. The stickiness that has turned to greasiness overnight can be easily washed away. A more than average moisturising mask I would say! 

At the end of the day, the Hada Labo 3-in-1 Arbutin Whitening Perfect Gel aims to produce a fair and bouncy skin.
