Givenchy Le Rouge-à-Porter Launch and Review – Celine Chiam | Singapore Lifestyle, Beauty and Travel Blogger

Few weeks back I attended the launch of Givenchy’s Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks with my dear girls. Privileged to say we witnessed the launch of this new Le Rouge-à-Porter lipstick, a revamped version of the existing Le Rouge lipsticks. Let’s discover this new lipstick range from Givenchy, shall we? 🙂

First of all, no doubt that  Givenchy’s Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks exude a very classy vibe thanks to its leather casing. It’s much slimmer this time round compared to the original Le Rouge lipsticks. 

Now not only do the Le Rouge and Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks differ in sizes, they also differ in the formula that comes in the lipsticks. I do a bit of swatches of both the lipsticks and here’s my verdict.

If you can ignore the lighting of both the swatches but solely concentrate on the texture of the swatches, you can tell that the  Le Rouge lipsticks are creamier and more pigmented, while the  Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks resemble more like a tinted balm. Givenchy’s Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks are more moisturized so I reckon it suits ladies like me who have really dry lips.

What I have here is  Givenchy Le Rouge-à-Porter lipstick in shade 206. It’s a nice muted shade of both pink and coral. At some angle it looks like pink but it mostly looks like coral to me. Glossy as you can tell from the picture, it’s even more moisturising when applied onto the lips. It feels a little fruity on the lips but I’m not sure if it’s meant to be that way haha. Here’s how it looks on the lips, unedited!

I definitely like how moisturising this Givenchy Le Rouge-à-Porter lipstick is. However, you have to know that the colours aren’t very pigmented if you are looking for bold looks. This is the best for everyday feminine look. 

 Givenchy’s Le Rouge-à-Porter lipsticks come in 16 shades and are retailing at SGD52 at all Sephora outlets. Thank you 37comms and Givenchy for the kind invitation!
