I think I just had the best highlight of my university exchange – witnessing the historical victory of Germany against Brazil with the score of 7-1!! It’s insane, but the celebratory atmosphere was even more unforgettable!

 Everyone simply cheered and many started waving the German flag when the match came to an end. It was rather chill because we all knew it was a sure win from the first half of the match. I’m definitely a football noob but I really enjoyed the match with the locals!

Right after the match, we headed to Giselastraße’s street to join in the fun and celebration. It’s actually quite funny how the locals recommended us to alight at the metro stop JUST because we should totally check out the celebration on the streets. And so we did!

I swear it’s one of the best highlight of my exchange, so much so that I am writing this post at 2am. I am so excited!!
