Hi lovelies! What is the best makeup remover that you reckon?
Allow me to self-proclaim myself as a die-hard fan of Biore products, especially their makeup removers in whichever form it is! I’ve also been using the Biore Cotton Sheets since the day I bought it and I love it so much, never wanting to replace it with other makeup remover, until I was given a chance to try out the new Biore Micellar Cleansing Water.

I’m pretty sure most of us understand how oil-based makeup remover leaves an extremely greasy feeling on the face after removing the makeup, or how sticky your skin would feel after using it. Honestly, how I wish removing makeup can be more refreshing. If things are so simple, I would love to wash off all the makeup with just water only, but dream on!
Thankfully, Biore is out to make the step of removing makeup more comfortable and refreshing with their new Biore Micellar Cleansing Water! Intended to act like water, the Cleansing Water features lightweight and refreshing sensation that removes makeup in one simple wipe. After removing the makeup with the cleansing water, your skin will feel clean and refreshed with absolutely no sticking feeling at all. In fact, rinsing is not required but I still prefer to finish up the regime with some cooling water.

I used one cotton pad for each eye, and two cotton pads for the whole face. That makes it about 4-5 pads for a thorough cleansing.

What does the new Biore Micellar Cleansing Water contain?

The Biore Micellar Cleansing Water includes several new techniques like the Watery Micellar Technology which serves to dissolve and lift off all makeup including mascara and eyeliner (shown in the photo below). Containing Natural Mineral Water from the Northern Japanese Alps, Enriched Collagen and White Tea Extract, the cleansing water provides a gentle formula that encourages brighter and suppler skin. Its Anti-bacterial formula also helps prevent pimples and breakouts, and minimise pores for a clearer and more refined complexion.
I do agree that the cleansing water does not leave any greasy or sticky texture after cleansing, and I do feel really refreshed after removing all the makeup. But personally, I prefer and would encourage double cleansing so I would suggest not stopping here, although the cleansing water serves a second function as normal cleansing. Kudos to the easy removal by the cleansing water as well, as my eyeliner and mascara got removed pretty easily.
