One of the things that almost all ladies would get when they visit Taiwan is to sweep all face masks. You won’t believe it because most of the masks selling in Singapore are from Taiwan, and they are very popular among Singaporean girls! 

我的美丽日记is one of the more popular and well-received brands in both Taiwan and Singapore, so I was really excited when I get to try out their new product – the Black mask! 

Comes in a pack of 5, the Black Obsidian Moisturizing Black Mask is known to moisturize and bring back illumination to your skin, like most masks do.

Texture of face mask sheet: pretty decent, and definitely thicker than their usual pack of ten, which is why it’s slightly more expensive. 

Difference: it comes with extra area to cover the neck area. The downside is that it doesn’t have the ear hooks so it always fall off my neck area. 

Hydrating effect: decent enough! I find it quite whitening too. This mask is said to nourish, hydrate, moisturize and illuminate.

The Black Obsidian from France is rich in trace elements and minerals that restores healthy skin, supports the skin’s protective mechanism and initiates the skin’s hydrating power. The infusion of 3D Hyaluronic acid and yeast compound provide nourishment and refinement to the skin, while Laminaria digitata and sugar maple deliver intense hydration to the deep layers of skin to improve dry skin texture, revealing brighter and more luminous skin. 

.. This mask also contains numerous soothing ingredients including Calendula officinalis, Licorice, and Ruscus aculeatus extracts to relieve dry, rough and irritated skin. The product is also rich in Bladder wrack seaweed, Aloe vera, and hydrolyzed Jojoba for improved hydration, allowing the skin to feel nourished, soft, and refreshed.
