Happy CNY everyone!! Last weekends, I was invited to the beauty workshop co-hosted by both Ettusais Singapore and Tokyo Star Optical,  a newly opened optical store at CityLink Mall, which is only a stone's throw away from my School and Cityhall Station. At this Valentine's Day themed workshop, I got to learn many more tips and tricks from the Ettusais MUA about what kind of makeup better suits different kind of frames, face shapes and even the eye shapes, and of course, the best makeup theme for the special day.

If you would like to know some makeup tips for glasses-wearers, then read on!

Before that, how do I look with this pair of spectacles? :3
I thought the staff did give a great recommendation for me with this pair of angled framed spectacles. All along I thought I have really round face, but little do I expect myself actually being identified with an oval face instead. So retangular frames suit best for oval shaped faces like me.

Tokyo Star Optical is located at 1 Raffles Link, #B1-31, Citylink Mall.

And of course, what would an event be if without my lovely blogger babes, Kymm and Alene, missing out June in this photo though! Also met a new friend (far left) who was modelling for us at the beauty workshop. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name!

I really love how all four of us look great even with glasses on. Comes to show glasses doesn't mean you can only look nerdy, but you can look terrific too!

And of course with my dearest babe, Kymm!

As the makeup workshop began, the Ettusais team introduced to us their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection, of which includes their crayon lippies and valentine's edition blushers!

You can tell that the humble looking store front of only 786 square foot carries an impressive range of spectacles. Tokyo Star Optical offers 3 fixed package prices – $96, $126 and $156 – includes imported frames and Tokyo aspheric lens. With an extensive range of over 1,200 distinctive Tokyo style elements to choose from, the optical glasses are specially crafted for the avid Tokyo style followers, breathing new life with every frames. Not only are they available in an array of styles, they are also lightweight, with the lightest being a mere 6.5 grams.

 Some tips for you!

For shortsighted people, since the thickness of the lenses will make your eyes look smaller, it'll be good if you can emphasise more on your eyes through the use of makeup. Try using eyeliner and eyeshadow to enhance your eyes.

For longsighted people, the lenses will make your eyes look larger, so you can go lighter on the eye makeup to balance the look.

And finally, thank you Ettusais for pampering us with your latest collection and best-selling mascaras for me to pair with my spectacles!
