3D Eyebrow Embroidery Review | Perfect Brow House1/12/2015

This isn't my first time doing eyebrow embroidery so I guess I can make some comparisons and determine whether it was a job well done this time. I went ahead to Perfect Browhouse after seeing the work done on my friend's (Samantha) brows and also because the first one that I did had faded away.

Kelly from Perfect Browhouse
Samantha highly recommended Kelly from Perfect Browhouse to me simply because she herself was very satisfied with her work. I couldn't stand having to draw my eyebrows every morning so I thought it's time to pay a visit to Kelly and get my second eyebrow embroidery done. If a name has to be given to me, it has got to be "The eyebrow girl on MRT" because I always draw my brows on the train LOL. Seriously you won't know how much time and effort I saved after getting the eyebrow embroidery done!
The reason why Kelly couldn't fill up the brows on what she has drawn here is because I had my old eyebrow embroidery still on and she has to follow what was already drawn, if not the result will look really messy.
A visit to Perfect Browhouse was pretty similar and standard to my first time at other salon. First you'll draw the brows to determine the shape you prefer so that the beautician knows what kind of brows to draw. Mine was a tricky case for Kelly because like I've said, I still have some marks left from the previous embroidery, so Kelly have to follow some of the strokes of my old eyebrow embroidery. Thankfully Kelly was really experienced in this and she managed to do the job really well.
After numbing my eyebrow area for about 20 mins, it's time to get the embroidery started. Can't deny, the sound of each blade cutting the skin was horrible and scary, but it's all for the convenience and beauty I'll enjoy in the near future! As for the pain level, I'll rate a mere 2/10 because the numbing effect was there. I have very sensitive skin and Kelly apparently noticed it too halfway through the embroidery, when she realized my skin gets red easily and the sound that comes off after each stroke isn't quite the same to many others. So mine was really a tricky case!
Many people fear eyebrow embroidery because of two things: pain and unnatural result. There was middle-age lady who came in after me, so she got to watch me doing the embroidery. Once I was done, she repeatedly asked me whether it was painful, which shows that she's really worried about the pain. As I've mentioned above, the pain was a mere 2 out of 10, and it's totally bearable, in fact much less painful than facial/extractions! Whether or not it's natural, I think my photos following up can answer you.

What is 3D eyebrow embroidery?
Like how the word "3D" suggests, it imitates each and every hair strands on your eyebrows by creating strokes and strokes of lines using a special embroidery blade. Unlike normal eyebrow embroidery which only colours a full area of eyebrow, 3D eyebrow embroidery is definitely more natural and looks more real because of each single strokes. Basically, any empty areas on your natural brows will be filled up with strokes of hair-like pigments, creating a natural-looking brow.
And because it only cuts into the epidermis layer (which is less deep compared to conventional eyebrow tattoo), it minimises any permanent damages caused to our skin. This also means that the embroidery will only face off together instead of patches by patches from eyebrow tattoo.
The reason why it looks greasy is because I've applied some cream on the brows to keep the wounds moisturised. A small tub of moisturising cream will be provided to all customers of Perfect Browhouse, FOC.
How to take care of your 3D Eyebrow Embroidery?
Most importantly, try not to let water touches your freshly done up brows. It'll affect the longevity of the brows, especially the colours of the pigments. In order to prevent water from touching my brows, I have to wash my face separately from my showers. I washed my face on the basin and uses cotton pads to wipe off the cleanser, and I had to repeat this for 5 days at least. The longer you maintain and make sure no water touches your eyebrow embroidery, the longer it will stay!
and 4 days later...
|DAY 4 of eyebrow embroidery|
Clearly by day 4, the 3D Eyebrow Embroidery no longer looks as thick or dark. The colours have faded to a more natural shade, and the strokes are now less distinct, which blends in very well with my normal brow hair. If you do draw your brows regularly, I doubt anyone would notice your eyebrow embroidery. Nobody at my work place actually question whether have I done anything to my brows.
An overall review
The 3D Eyebrow Embroidery Kelly from Perfect BrowHouse provided me proved me one thing - that a decent eyebrow embroidery does not have to fetch such a high bill. My previous eyebrow embroidery was really expensive and I naively thought that a high price tag means a better service, but not always the case. Perfect Browhouse, although located at a neighbourhood area, which has recently relocated to the new Paya Lebar shopping centre, can do an equally great job, and fetching a much lower price.
An eyebrow embroidery can save you a lot of time, and regain you a lot of confidence. Yes, we can always draw our eyebrows when we head out, but what happens after we remove the makeup? Your bare eyebrows will only make you look the confidence because you know something is missing. The windows to our eyes are missing! :( I can't express to you how much more confident I am after doing my brows. I don't have to fear scaring my bf when he wakes up in the next morning haahha.
Kelly has up to more than 10 years of experience and by the way she does my eyebrow embroidery, I strongly recommend her to you!
